The format descriptions below should be read by all bowlers, managers, coaches, and parents / guardians / carers in addition to the Event Rules.
- BOYS SINGLES EVENT – all age divisions
GIRLS SINGLES EVENT – all age divisions
2. BOYS DOUBLES EVENT – all age divisions
GIRLS DOUBLES EVENT – all age divisions
MIXED DOUBLES will bowl as boys doubles (all age divisions)
3. FOUR PERSON TEAM EVENT – 2 divisions: Points (P) and Open (0)
(P) The team can be any line up with a maximum of 11 points made up as follows (check the FAQ section for a handy team points calculator):

(O) The Open teams can be all age groups (no points restriction).
Prizes will be based on the number of entries in each division.
4. ALL EVENTS
All bowlers entering the three events will automatically be entered in the All Events.
5. SCORING
Handicap = 80% of the difference between average and 210. (See Rules 9 & 10)
6. BOWLING ORDER
Bowlers will bowl in the order declared on the Entry Form in both singles, doubles & scratch, and handicap sections.
7. ENTRY FEE

8. SQUAD TIMES
Overflow squads Sunday 11th January 2026 – will only be used once all other squads are full.
There will be a maximum of 14 lanes available for each squad (28 bowlers in Doubles/Singles and 56 bowlers in Team).
The timings below are for squads on Saturday 17th, Sunday 18th and Saturday 24th January 2026. Registration will be 30 minutes before the first event.

9. PHOTOGRAPHY POLICY
The presentation will be no earlier than 15.30 on Sunday 25th January 2026
Please be aware before, during, and after the event there could be filming, action photography or video taken of participants and medal winners by anyone attending the event, either as an official, spectator, parent or guardian. If you (as a participant, parent or guardian) object to this, you must make your objections known to the tournament manager prior to the event starting and reasonable adjustments will be made
10. SENSITIVE HEARING AND OTHER SPECIAL NEEDS
Please may we respectfully remind you that it is your responsibility to make sure that your bowlers are as comfortable as possible. We want all participants to have the best experience possible and if there is anything you would like us to be aware of, please do let us know. Everything will be treated in confidence and reasonable adjustments will be made where possible.
11. Contact methods
Contact must only be made via the contact page or SOE email address. Messages sent via other channels (e.g. personal email addresses or social media profiles) will be ignored.
Squads will be allocated on a first come first served basis (to fully complete and fully paid entries only). Where multiple entries are received and paid for on the same day, preference will be given to clubs bowling all of their events on one day and to clubs traveling more than 80 miles (home centre distance to Dunstable). Event spaces will not be held without an entry form.
